(1) will the eh03 rom work fine with or without root or do I have to use a different rooted rom in order to pull keys?
(2) are there any special auto updating NVItem code for 465 & 466 before pulling the keys.

Hello,

I don't think there is anything you need to do to pull the individual keys but if your flashing phones I recommend paying the 103.00 for cdma workshop and pulling the entire data profile by clicking the main tab and then READ then save and write

No screwing around with individual nv items

Also you can use any softwear version on the i500 stock no root necessary
