Hi;

I have a rumor 2 bejax 265 and would like to flash it to alltel. Will the altel ax265 firmware work for this phone?

I've tried using LGNPST and all it says is invalid binary file. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I registered the dll's for the ax265 and lx265

Using PST I choose the ax265 in file then choose the bin file in the AX265 directory, but it didn't work.

Please let me know what can be done. I am pretty new to flashing lg phones.

if it's a sprint rumor 2 then do NOT load the alltel firm onto it. There are hardware differences between the two the AX bin will brick the sprint phone :-\

rereading your post idk which carrier the BEJAX265 is from(us cell or virgin?) but i would definitely do some more research before loading the alltel bin. I think sprint's LX is the only one with hardware issues.

you might try loading the new firm in emergency mode (hold down pwr+5 while off) IF it's not sprint lol
