I've had no success with LG Lab Level 1.2, so I canned it and went back to 1.1.
Every time I've seen the Model listed as "UNKNOWN" I simply select my DLL, quit LGNPST and then relaunch. This has always resolved the "UNKNOWN" model issue for me in LGNPST Lab Lavel 1.1.
Check your Model folder. Do you see a "Components 2.0" directory listed here? The enV Touch requires the following components (sorry for the formatting, pasted directly from the Setting.xml file in the VX11000 model folder):
<COMPONENT_INFO>
<LGNPST_COMPONENTS>
<CommandProcessor>2.0.1.0</CommandProcessor>
<BaseModel2>2.0.2.0</BaseModel2>
<BasicComControl2>2.0.0.0</BasicComControl2>
<Command>2.0.6.0</Command>
<DLManager2>2.0.2.0</DLManager2>
<EFS>2.0.6.0</EFS>
<Flash>2.0.6.0</Flash>
<Log2>2.0.5.0</Log2>
<MemoryTransfer>2.0.1.0</MemoryTransfer>
<NVStorage2>2.0.9.0</NVStorage2>
<PortManager2>2.0.0.0</PortManager2>
<Script2>2.0.2.0</Script2>
<UI>2.0.1.0</UI>
<Utility2>2.0.1.0</Utility2>
</LGNPST_COMPONENTS>
If the necessary components are not installed, you will not be able to NV Edit.
Let me know if this helps...
There is a Phone Settings OCX and a Phone Settings 2 OCX that does the same things as K3rrsed just posted. That is also in this forum.
i had that same issue it was solve by someone on mobile files the thread stated to
##LGSERVICEMENU
change the diag port from null to usb
reboot
and flash
Lately I've noticed when flashing enV Touches that I don't need to enter the ##LGSERVICEMENU to change diag port from null to USB. Instead, I connect the data cable and if it doesn't connect correctly on a Modem or COM port, I simply go to the Menu on the phone (not the programming menu, just the standard menu) and for some reason Device Manager changes the connection from a Mass Storage Device to a standard Modem and COM port.
Can anyone verify this?
