    Default Cdm-8905

Hey all, Does anyone still have a working copy of the PST for the CDM-8905vw. I'd really appreciate it. I hate not having a phone...most of the time.

Thanks a Million, I think I might have a pinout or wrong cable issue as well, I'm reverse engineering it at the moment. As soon as I get some info on the pinout, I'll post it, so everyone else doesn't have to go through this malay. Seems the 8905is differnt then the rest of the 89xx series. It may be the same as the 8945 & CDM180...still working on it. Hopefully I'll have it figured out this weekend.

It is different because it's not Qualcomm. That phone use Via Chipset.

Thanks, I got it figured out yesterday. In case anyone else still has a 8905, it's a different connector than the other 8900's. It has a 24 pin vs 16 pin for the others. Pins 4 & 5 are +5vdc. Pins 12 & 19 are ground. Pin 8 is USB+ (green) and Pin 17 is USB- (white). I'm sure there's a spkr out as well, but didn't dig that far into it. Hope this helps someone down the road.
