    Default Please help!!! Htc Touch Pro Hard Reset..."""IMPOSIBLE""""

    I bought 3 htc touch Pro from Ebay...sellers advertised Bad esn's....One of the phones has a User Lock...and as we all know..the only way to get rid of that password is hard Resseting the phone...I done it many times before...some times it takes a few tries before you can get it working...some times you can get it right away...I've been trying with this one for about 5 hours now..and no luck at all...i have read around 30 pages of differents websites...for different ways to do the hard reset but no luck at all....Please, any help will be appreciated....Thank you.

    I have only come across one that was stuborn and I put into bootloaderand reflashed the shipped ROM which is basically what a hrd reset is. Just a suggestion!

    Thank you for your reply...So,I put the phone in bootloader,tried to flash the Cricket Rom in to the phone but it didn't work .....Do you think if I Flash the Sprint Rom it probably works?

    first off u need to flash it back to stock sprint after u do that u need to run the unlocker to be able to put a custom rom on it BTW hard reset for that device is hold Send + End then Press reset

    [/quote] As I stated in my previous post you will need to flash it to a shipped ROM and as dex says you will need to unlock it also. There is a full tutorial here in the HTC section to help you out.

    Thank you Guys...I finally got it working...I downloaded the Sprint Rom...Unlock it..then flashed the Cricket ROM....Works Great ....
