Following earlier reports that pointed to a late October release for Google’s next “pure Google” phone, Digitimes on Wednesday cited anonymous Taiwan-based component makers in claiming that Google’s Nexus 5 will indeed be released sometime in October. The site adds that LG will build the phone, it will run Android 4.4 KitKat and it’ll be priced to compete with mid-range smartphones.
