    Default Helio wap settings

    Helio Ocean WAP solution.
I guess some people have been asking for the help with the helio ocean wap. I cracked this a month ago, just never posted it as it is an older phone, I didn't think it would catch more interest. Anyhow here you go..

First of all you want to make sure your phone spc is set to zeros and it has a cricket prl. I will show you how to get wap on this phone, assuming you already know how to get the phone talk and text, if not start searching there are many tuts out there that teach you how to get it done.

Anyhow first thing I did was set all the manual settings on my phone such as user name and such.

Dial ##3282# enter your spc by this time it should be all zeros

go to user name, then profile 1

    settings should be as follow:

user name: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

SPI MN-HA: 1234 (after reset it shows 4D2 wap still works)
SPI MN-AAA: 1234 (after reset it shows 4D2 wap still works)

    M Home Address: 066.179.166.148

    Prim Home Agent: 010.000.005.021

    Sec Home Agent:010.000.005.022

    Rev Tunnel Pref: Disabled

Then save and edit Profile 2. Profile 2 I set to the exact same as Profile 1.

    Save reset.

Dial ##1122 End (must be done quickly)

    Go down to NGB config

Home URL: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Proxy: wap.mycricket.com

    Then exit save.

Now for the fun part first of all before you access EFS you need to unlock the Helio Ocean I used CDMA Workshop.

    The password is 7341B6CDCFFA9692

Once phone is unlocked open bitpim and connect phone manually to the correct port. (You must close CDMA workshop for port to be available)

On top go to view, and make sure View filesystem is checked if not check it.

On the left go to Filesystem Now click the little blue folder

Once that pops up all the options click on wipi then shared, then NGB.

Under NGB folder you will see cwconfiguration.ini right click and save to the desktop.

    Open file with winhex.

This should start on offset 46d On top go to position go to offset put 46d and i should take you to the beginning of [CONFIG] after that just copy my settings

    [CONFIG]
URL=str:[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

anyone able to do the fin? since you cant chant the name to @mycricket.com for username it doesn't allow anymore characters

*to change username* use QPST and edit there

"I have changed UN and AN Username and Password in QPST and switched to Mobile IP. I even found hidden internet menu and put in wap.mycricket.com and can change homepage too.
To get there go to menu, hold 0, code is 6725. last menu is Internet.
Hold # from menu and use code 9*58 to get to PAP username and password, but they were already changed correctly."

thats another thing I found on hofo forgot name tho

if anyone has the dll that's supposed to be able to let u edit the rest

I've done one of these before. I had crazy latency issues with the connection on all that I touched, but they all worked fine once connected. Y'all have the same probs?
