. Now that I think about it, that magical kernel might just be already built-in to the wifi tether app, LOL. If you really want to test the difference in the speed between the native hotspot app and wifi tether app, try it on LG Vortex. It is much faster with the wifi tether app. So there you go, that's the magical custom kernel.

hey how do you get the native tethering app to work in the flashed incredibles,, my always goes to the @vzwdun screen saying i need to be subscribed to it or what ever,,, and the vortex is faster than the incredibles? i might have to get one

I never got the stock app to work on the incredible but I never really used them because the speed on the vortex and the i500 were much faster
