LG Display on Thursday gave us a preview of what we can expect from its upcoming smartphones by showing off a 5.2-inch full HD LCD panel that measures just 2.2 millimeters thin. While we don’t yet know when LG will actually use this panel in one of its devices, it’s interesting that the company decided to announce the new panel leading up to its launch of the upcoming Optimus G2 smartphone that will likely be released this fall. The latest rumors claim that the Optimus G2 will feature.a.5.2-inch 1080p display, a quad-core 2.3GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
