This is a Cricket Bin/DLL I found on M-F. It is pretty useful to me. Once you flash the bin to this phone simply type in 47*68#13580 then 073 and "clear mem" will show up and the phone will reset. And you are ready to go...

what program do you use to flash the bin on a samsung r500?

Samsung PST. Not the Samsung PST Lite. Use the full version. It is on this forum for download. This is one of the easiest Samsungs to load the bin to. It takes about 15 seconds

I have samsung pst, but where do you load the bin. i have always used mmc on pst.

When you are talking about flashing the "bin" that is meaning you are loading the firmware onto the phone. That is done through the "SW" button on Samsung PST. Now, the MMC you are talking about is adjusting the settings on the phone with predetermined settings from an mmc file.

Please be more clear as to what you are trying to do as I am a bit confused...

what i meant was i usually use mmc files in pst to change the settings for cricket wap and mms to work. i saw that ur download had a cricket bin for thr r500. i haven't used a bin before, that is why i was asking how to load the bin using pst, but you answered that with SW tab. thx for your response and time. i'll try this and see how it goes.
