Cool iOS Upgrade - Confirmation Before Doing So

    Hello,
Recently I have programmed an iPhone 4 Verizon to Reliance India. As per requirements, it was JailBroken and its running with iOS 6.1. Now I want to upgrade to 6.1.3, so what I know is - jailbreak will be removed from the phone. But my question is - do I need to do the programming again? i.e, Activation, MDN/MIN, EVDO etc.?

    Please guide me.

    Thanks

your jailbreak will be tethered which means you cannot turn the phone off without using redsn0w to boot it back up.why would you update it?wait for ios7 public release and the soon to follow untethered jailbreak.

Actually I am having an issue with SMSes, So I thought upgrading may fix that -
I'm not receiving such SMSes which are being sent by Banks, Google, Facebook etc. FYI, those SMSes doesn't have a call back number, on my old BlackBerry those SMSes were displayed like this -
    FROM: LM-GOOGLE
Other SMSes sent from normal mobile, or operators having 10 or 5 digit numbers are appearing fine, but only those SMSes (apparently bulk SMSes) are not being displayed.

Any idea how to fix this?

    Thanks
