How to FLASH MIFI 2200 debrand and Bypass Data Filters

Well,,, the person who i know that just bought one has told me that the auto-update flash on theres went out already too... lasted 12 days,, soo back to ground zero, unless I want to use a phone thats sucks for a hotspot, better stick to cracking wifi wpa's...

damn, so even theirs with es* repair goes out? guess that wasnt the solution for OTA

jesus just get a friggin cradle point router and a novatell modem thats vzw branded and do the ota with a computer and vz access manager its a whole lot better than using an android phone to do all of this.

That sounds interesting but it doesn't answer the question for us "users/customers". Has there been a reliable work around, and what device is the preferred to replace the 2200. As I understand it, the mifi 2200 can't handle ota updates needed to keep from being knocked off, correct? What is the device that concensus is a good fit. Keep it simple, for us customers. Thanks in advance.

There is a workaround for all the mifis now and there are three of us that I know of that are selling them again. The 2200 still work great but the 4510 and the 4620 we can flash to 4g so thats whats new on the mifi front
