Cricket Wireless and Muve Music sat down with Oscar winner Gustavo Santaolalla from Bajofondo during SXSW. They discussed how Gustavo does it all; he’s a musician, film composer, producer and on top of that he has won two Academy Awards.

In the interview he says, “I’ve always been very motivated by the concept of identity," which is fitting being that "one of the characteristics of Bajofondo is that it’s a band that is half Argentinian and half Uruguayan.”

He also goes on to say that their latest album, “Presente,” “is an artistic manifesto, statement as a band…. It’s like a journey, it takes you from one place and you go through different landscapes.”
