Apple today made iOS version 6.0.1 available to the iPhone. In order to download the update, iPhone users must first download and install a new "iPhone Updater" application. This new application is necessary due to a bug in iOS 6 that prevents iPhones from downloading system updates. Once the iPhone Updater app installed, then the iPhone is able to access and download iOS 6.0.1. According to Apple, the update includes a large number of bug fixes that affect a wide array of the iPhone's features. Some include fixes to a horizontal line bug that appeared on the keyboard, Wi-Fi performance, the camera flash, cellular connectivity problems, and Exchange Meeting issues. The update clocks in at 68MB and is free to download over the air.
