    i didnt know vm had evo 3d,but i would think if there are no hdwr differences,you could use the sprint ruu for it.fair warning though i am not saying it will work because i do not know,but this does work on other vm phones that have no hdwr diff's from there sprint counterparts.

    Hello this is virtually the same as the Sprint version with a few little security tweeks. You have to root the phone using htc dev and then simply use msl reader to get the msl. We have flashed a lot of these already and they are simple but you need the msl to put the phone in diag mode so the flash takes about ten minutes longer
