he means that metro can/will except the 256 meid's but it has to be added from a legit login,not houdini.

I have a question if I'm on iOS 6.0 is there anyway I can just get text and talk to work While I wait until mms and web works?

if your phone is vzw then add your meid to your account then ota,for sprint you will need to do a bunch of work to get talk and text
