Iphone Tethered to Untethered!

I searched the forums and saw that this was not there. I hope this helps somebody or anybody!

Problem: Sometimes when you jailbreak iphone 4 or iphone 4S, it give you a tethered jailbreak. (On version 5.1.1 and 5.1)

Solution: Simple solution is to go to cydia and wait for it to update, then search for "Rocky Raccoon" and install.

This will untether the jailbreak

as I know jailbreak is always untethered for ios 5.1.1 via redsn0w 0.9.15b3. problem stills ios 6.0.1 cause if u flash device to another carrier - you need jailbreak and its tethered for ios 6.0.1 there isnt any news yet for untetherd jailbreak

untethered jb is done,it is just not released yet and is waiting for the release of 6.1 so it will not be waisted.

you can but adding it to your metro account is the prob now. wait for the new tool iphonemeidtool.com to help you with this.

Hey Rich I currently have ios 4.2.6 i have MetroPCS web/talk/text/mms so when the untethered IOS 6.1 will be released can I just update my IOS and untethered jailbreak, without flashing all over again? Thanks!
