The U.S. International Trade Commission on Monday indicated that it plans to review an initial ruling that found Apple guilty of infringing on a single Motorola patent. In a preliminary decision, ITC Judge Thomas Pender said Apple infringed on a patent for eliminating noise and other interference during phone calls, while at the same time ruling that Apple was not liable for three other patents of which it was accused of violating. The full ITC panel will weigh the initial ruling and make a final determination in August. Motorola has asked the ITC to prevent Apple from importing infringing devices -- including the iPhone -- into the U.S.
