How to check BB style 9670 cdma is unlocked or not?

Hi all,

I have purchased BB style 9670 cdma and the seller is saying it is officially registered to reliance.

But it is not getting activated.

How to check is the phone unlocked or not?

First unlocking a device refers to a GSM device which uses a SIM card. For CDMA you will need to flash it. One of the best ways to tell if it's flashed is what carrier it connects to when dialing 611 or your carriers 3 digit custom care number.
Could also be other factors like does your carrier use OTASP? Is the MEID on the account correctly? Is all the MDN info correct? Is the PRL correct?

when we dial the activation number of the carrier it is connecting also.

I hope this helps. In Blackberries, you can generally go to your MENU // OPTIONS // ADVANCED OPTIONS // SIM CARD
then from the keyboard type in 'mepd' (of course without the ' )

This would help if you dont have a SIM card and you want to check it out on the fly. :)
