Dumb question on how to read the forum

OK I always wonder what these two numbers ment. I know it the threads but don't understand the different in the numbers.

The 6 is posts, the 2 is threads. So in the instance it should be 6 posts in 2 threads.

After the new year, I'm going to do a video tutorial for using the forum and the many great features it has to offer. Many members are unaware how the blog system works, or that they can upload a profile pic different than their avatar. Or that higher up members can change the background of their profile pages.
