flashing verizons iphone 4 question

Hi, I have not flashed a cdma phone I have several iphone 4 cdma phones I am going to jailbreak and flash does it matter what baseband any of them are on in order to flash? I would guess no it don't matter. Thank you.

what matters is that a tethered jb is really a pain to work with,so yes it will be much easier to have an os below 5.0 since the untethered jb for it is not public yet.

Rich, Thank you for this info. I have one verzon 4 now and three more coming next week I bought broken at a good price so I will fix them and JB/flash since 2 or the 4 have bad esn's. I I will have to find a good os to JB then cause I don't want a tithered one since I will be selling them.
