Using CDMA workshop, I have unlocked this vx5600 and changed the spc to '000000'. CDMA ws also reports the field service code and one time key subsidy lock to both be '000000'. So I have no idea what spc LGNPST is looking for when I try to get into nv edit. One note is that I am using vx5500 dll in LGNPST (I can't find LGNPST_GENERICMODEL_VER_3_0_17_0.DLL). Thanks for any help.

the prepaid version of this model is known for throwing spc error in lgnpst after changed to 0's with workshop.there is a guide posted here in the forum by dex for it.gotta use bitpim for it and edit a couple of files to get data goin.

Yeah, the paramtable1 and the lgnv_mms_000.nv files, I've done that, but I must be missing something because the paramtable1 keeps resetting to the vzw form and despite the change in the mms file, no pic can be received or sent.

you gotta overwrite to get rid of the vzw.

I have done the overwrite, with a paramtable someone has already configured to cricket. But then when I reset the phone, or even activate to cricket, the old vzw paramtable comes back.

So I guess there are a few problems here from preventing this vx5600 from being fully flashed:

1.LGNPST asks for an erroneous spc - is this a problem that can be fixed?

2.Sidestepping LGNPST and just modifying the paramtable1.fil and lgnv_mms_000.nv files through bitpim doesn't work either because the paramtable file resets itself when the phone is reset or activated.

2a. Even though the lgnv_mms file does not reset, no pics can be sent or received

Any ideas?

I found this similar spc error problem with a vn250. Not really sure what to do with it. Hopefully I'll find an answer, there has to be one. LGnpst has to be looking for some number, and there has to be a way to find it.
