Anyone get this Error # 16 when oing a Evo on Boost?
anyone know how to fix it?

stay on the line and talk to customer service they will fix it for you. they will need the pin and your name and address. and thats it

ok I dial 611 from the flashed evo and i wait after the error 16 announcement it says to reach customer service please dial the phone number supplied by your service provider and the call hangs up by itself ???? it never gets to a rep

I was able to fix error 16 without talking to a rep...but this is on Sprint...not Boost, but this technique may work on Boost as well. So I got the EVO getting error 16...I waited on the error 16 message to complete to speak to a rep...but for some odd reason or another, my call just get disconnected automatically without giving me a chance to speak to the Sprint rep. So what I did was to go to my sprint.com account, replace the EVO with a different phone on the plan...waited about 2 hours, then put my EVO back into the plan. Error 16 went away without speaking to a rep.

Just do n esn change on boostmobile.com and a couple minutes later just change it back to the og one. it works everytime. I got a couple of errors 16 yesterday and thats the solution.

Worked great for me! Was getting Error 16 too but now its gone! Thanks.
