QPST keeps saying no phone!!!

I downloaded and installed the drives but when I connect to qpst it shows the port the moment is on but says no phone. This has never happened when I.ve flashed other phones.can someone please help

Which phone are you asking about?

Try right-clicking on the port. it might have an option: "put into Diag mode" click on it.

I have found many a phone that had to be done that way. once you do that, then you may use QPST, or CDMA w if you want. (many times if a phone doesn't show in my port list I can open QPST, find the port, and put into DIAG mode this way.
