A friend and this thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links] helped me out on this. What you'll need:
QXDM
QPST
Palm Drivers ( I used the 64 bit drivers for Win7 64 bit found here: [Only registered and activated users can see links] ). If you're using XP, this one works: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
OEM (genuine) Palm Centro USB cable: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Steps:
1) Remove the battery on the Centro.
2) Plug in the USB cable to your PC and Centro.
3) While holding down the sync button on the cable, insert the battery.
4) If this is the first time you've done this, your PC will request for drivers. Use the one mentioned above.
5) Use QPST to add the com port detected that the Centro is attached to. Take note of this com port. Close QPST.
6) Use QXDM and set it up to use the com port from step 5.
7) Use QXDM's memory viewer to view location 0x00947F12. If it's not there, try memory location 0x00940000 as referenced in howardforums above.
The 6 digit number you see in memory viewer is your Centro's MSL code.
