Crackutil question

im tryin to load crack util and it pops up n says enter password for device... as far as i know there is no password on my fone. so i hit ok with it left blank n then it says invalid password or device not connected.. its deff connected bc bb desktop see;s it now my question is how do i figure out what the password is on the phone if there is one..

running windows 7
bb pearl 8100

any help would b greatly appretiated..

No need for CrackUtil if you are just trying to load the service books. Use Legacy mode instead.

Go to Options, Advanced Options, Service Book

Hold alt key (up arrow on 8130) and type S B E B

Should say "Legacy Restore Mode"

Then use "Restore" in BBDM to push your service book.

No way that I know of to read a password off a bb. (Only a wipe to remove it)

try with dsktop mngr closed and crack util open by itself.i have seen pc's that want it open with cu and some that want it closed and use cu by itself.

if it has a pass,it will be asking you for it when pwrd on.

Usually there are 2 or more issues here, one is; only crack utils shoul be open anything else should be closed. Two in win7 always run as administrator. And the last berry must be on.
