Help Sprint HTC Touch Pro *228 connect to verizon instead of Cricket?

Need Some Help.Live in Baltimore,MD.I have a Sprint Touch Pro Im trying to connect to Cricket.Its unlocked.SPL-0.37.CMONEX.Im also using a 4.50 Cricket Rom i found in the forums.I have used the 1039,1030,1050prl varios cricket 1x EVDO prls and have others but when i use then theres no signal or digital roaming.When i do get the digital roaming triangle and dial *228 i always get connected to Verizon wireless programming!Please help

you need to use a smartphone prl with that phone,i would suggest 42600 or 42700 .

did you change your sid? it will roam if you did not.

Yeah DMV is AWS...BUT a PRL switch could get you SOMETHING out there. Remember, that simply flashing a ROM wont give you data..whenever I see that, I figure people think ROMs are magic...especially when they use those old 10xx PRLs.

I changed the PST settings as well.What else would i need to do in order for the *228 to work

the problem is that your phone is gonna roam in that aws market and cricket is gonna terminate your acct. after a month or 2. if you just gotta test it and see,you will need to program it manually by
writing min-mdn-prl and evdo tab with workshop then set up the web connection in the connections menu on the phone and dial ##data# to get to the data menu and edit accordingly.

*228 and *22804 does not work on all phones.

Why so gung ho over *228ing a flashed phone anyway? You really don't have to...not gonna do anything but auto-program NAM info and download a PRL. No data help.
