Rumor Touch Virgin Mobile

Hello,

Having searched just about everywhere and learning that many folks are unable to disable the Rumor Touch purchased from Virgin Mobile, I was referred to this website.

I am unable to disable the lock code feature of the LG Rumor Touch. There is no "key guard" setting in Settings and the phone is locked within seconds of using it or hanging up.

I am a very basic user and not tech savvy.
Any assistance with this issue is much appreciated.

I finally got my phone to unlock. I used the MP3 method, for best results I believe the MP3 files should be different, or atleast 1/2. I put 800 MP3 (400 unique x2) and it worked like a charm, when i copied one or a few over and over it wouldn't catch. In the stock Media Player use all songs, takes longer for it to separate the files to view. As for the phone locking, when the display turns off it will lock itself. To extend the time it takes go to

Home > Main Menu > Settings > Display > Backlight

To save battery the screen will dim and turn off. If your ok with the dim screen then leave it about 15secs, and just set Backlight off to a minute.
