lets just say it is NOT worth it for any other model than iphone4 and prolly not really worth it for that one, because of the cost. i sure dont expect to sell may of them, from me there gonna be around 225 bucks, everyone who can get these will obviously set there own price, but this is not a cheap unlock.you can buy the 2g,3g,3gs phones for less than the unlock.but these codes will get cheaper i am pretty sure.

but its for sure worth it for the upcomming iphone 5.

You can buy used 3Gs on Clist for that much. And once you unlock a 2G or 3G, they are not going to ever be updated again anyway, so they are as good as factory unlocked at that point. I'm not an iphone guy but $200 for an unlock is phone rape.

this is nothing new, this was available when the first generation iPhone came out, same thing as calling at&t and telling them you want to take your phone over seas if your very lucky they will unlock your phone via itunes next time you plug it up. it not so easy any more especially on the iPhone

IMO its well worth it. I know people are jaw dropping, but you gotta realise this is someone inside apple thats taking a risk of apples boot in the A**.

But the high price is controlling the market. The IMEIs take time to process and since there is really only like 1 source...the cheaper it is the more work it will be for less money.

And to anyone skeptical....the dude that started this sold over 1000 opening night lol. I can't even imagine what its up to now. Hell i sold 2 the night i posted my ebay ad. Peeps open their wallets wider for the iDevices. Its a curse lol.

The permanent unlock is not available anymore. I went with my cousin to a cell phone store to do it, we even paid for it ($250), and we were told 1-2 days. But then 2 days later they told us that it cannot be done anymore right now as the IMEI unlocking was globally shut down or something like that. We tried with few other stores and they said the same thing. Another option is the Iphone 4 Gevey sims. they claim to work with all the new versions, haven't tried it, but it claims to work perfect without any reception problems or anything like the previous gevey sims. Will try it out and let you know.
