Alright so in my area our cricket reps say we have 3g..and it's true cricket phones do pick up EVDO and a very strong signal at that. According to my rep all of our towers are EVDO. When I had a motorola hint my EV bars were always full. However I have been flashing phones for 3 years, and I NEVER pick up EVDO or 3g on flashed phones. I have used numerous PRLs even the new nationwide EVDO prls and all I can ever pick up is 1x on any phone that I flash. I was curious if anyone else in other markets have the same issue, or know a resolution? Our market has never been AWS, but one rep keeps insisting it is. Even though we have been flashing phones since cricket came to this area which I assume would mean its NOT an AWS market. As a matter of fact when I took my flashed LG Dare to Las Vegas it did not work since it is an AWS area. Anyone have any input on this? It would be highly appreciated!
