I keep getting an error message or something in Russian it looks like. It's not an error concerning the COM port, I am 100% sure I'm connected correctly there. This message looks like this:

Niaoeaeuii aey Vasia Sonet-Servis io kiw ;-)

Anyone know what this means? There are accents over many of the letters, but I couldn't be bothered to type them in like that.

To read any spc on LG device you need to download bitpim, and read your phone with that program. VX5600 is not listed on the program, but you can use VX8560 and read your device. Then open cdma workshop and send this command 11 17 00 06 and it will reveal the spc.

the newer versions of workshop all you need to do is in the security tab set to lg method and push read and it will give spc for that one.takes about 2 seconds.
