Pantech TXTM8 In "Offline Mode"....What Can I Do?

I have a 2009 Pantech TXTM8 (UTStarcom TXT8026C), and it is stuck in "Offline Mode". Blank black screen, with no menus. The picture mail button works, but when I select it, it flashes "Please wait, User data is being restore!" for a millisecond, and then reboots. Pressing the Send button just brings up a scrambled blue and orange box with the message "All Calls Empty".

Is there anything I can do using a do-it-yourself method? Or....?

ummmm pst and firmware is my guess good luck with that, nice post just wonder why bother with a phone that is known for ultimately only working on the charger eventually.
