ok,bear with me this may take a while , first off my evo goes directly to fastboot upon power up , the screen does not display anything , how do i know its in fastboot , well if i press vol button down 3 times phone will cut off and charge light comes on , with phone on and usb cable connected i can send fastboot commands and the phone responds , i tried loading ruu but get error 171, anyone have any ideas as to what i can try , i can get some more info if that will help ( like fastboot oem) my phone is no good the way it is , this all started when i wrote the wrong nv items , thnx
