Microsoft Adds Parental Controls to Android Launcher and Edge

The Microsoft Launcher for Android phones now includes location history so parents can see their children's last known location with a time stamp. The Launcher also gains the ability to let parents view app activity. Parents can see which apps are accessed at what time and for how long they are used. The Microsoft Edge browser for Android devices now gives parents the ability to allow or block web sites. Parents will have to set up a family group in order to control these tools. Microsoft says parents can also check usage on Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One consoles. The updates to Microsoft Launcher and the Edge browser will begin rolling out today.
