Samsung i400 Continuum - Read with CDMA Workshop

I'm trying to flash this phone but I'm running into problems getting it to work properly with CDMA Workshop. I've installed the correct drivers and the "diagnostic port" does show up in CDMA Workshop. I can connect to it, but if I try to do anything else (read, send spc, etc.), it times out... Has anyone else dealt with this before?

So I figured it out. The phone had a bad data port. It was good enough to connect but that was about it.
