lg vm510 usb issues

ok i just got this vm510 and found out i needed a sd card for the damn thing even to read on the puter. but its a mass storage device.

i have downloaded all the drivers and have just about all the programs for the lg phones.
but when i plug the usb in on this one it will never pop up as a usb device or modem just the mass storage device...... i know i cant be the only one that has this gay issue.
the phone is less than 24hrs old. i want to unlock it. but if i cant get it to get on a usb .......well you know the rest of the storie.. anyways any help on this..

usb is disable you need to find the spc to open the port. There is a guide on here on how to get the spc. once you find the spc hit ##port# and it will ask you for the spc then the port will work.

I've done a few of these. Connect the usb cable, then tell the phone to disconnect. Once you do that, you can connect to it and do your thing.

ok well i guess in order to get this to work i need the spc code... and i havent found anyone yet to get it for me.. so im going to say this issue with the usb port is sovled for now.

For the spc, you can just use cdma workshop and use the lg method for spc

we can get spc codes for most carriers including virgin mobile but they are not free.
