Robert Crosland, of Preston Junior High School in Idaho, fed the snapper turtle in front of students after classes had ended for the day, according to local media. Marc Gee, superintendent for the local school district, said in a statement his team was aware of a “regrettable circumstance involving some of the biological specimens” last week.
