Need help flashing droid eris to metropcs

i have a already flashed ,esn is on metropcs and is activated (in use), Droid eris but only with talk and tect and i wanted to expirement on it. it is my personal phone i use it everyday and i just wanted to flash or finish flashing it myself with WEB AND APPS. if anyone knows how please help

hey its not working ever since you posted it up i have been trying to do this. my computer doesnt find my phone as htc diagnostics com port. i have downloaded everything and just wont work you have any other links????

Plug the phone in and dial ##DIAG# to enable the diagnostic port. I'm not too familiar with Metro's network. If they don't use a proxy, then all you need to do is configure the EVDO settings. If they do use a proxy, you have more work ahead of you-- study up on u2nl, autostart, and iptables... Lastly, you will have to edit the MMSC address accordingly to have MMS work properly.
