Here's the sprint, metro and pre-release us cellular firmware for the optimus. Before you get too excited, the metro ms690 is different hardware than the sprint or us cellular so cross flashing is at your own risk. LGE is also working on virgin mobile software for this model but it's in the very early stages of development. Email me if you're interested in that.

I see a scr, a dll and a tot file. The tot file appears to be the firmware it's self... So...
How do I load it into the phone???

i have a big prob need help i have lg optimus by sprint pran new phone never been activated i by pass the activation screen and after that i flashed the phone and it went throw full put the screen got burned and idk why all i can think off that the new optimus version is lgls670zv2 so the us cellular software dont mach that so idk what or why that happen

if you are flashing the sprint to uscell,i believe there are hardware differences,i am not sure for the uscell,but i am looking at the cricket,sprint,and verizon optimus in font of me here,and there hardware differences,and usually hardware difference means softwares are not interchangeable. but again i dont have the uscell model here just the others.

I got a non-working Optimus S. It boots to the Sprint Logo and then hangs. I have properly installed LGNPST and have the .tot file. I begin the reflashing, it says "Sub Progressing Masterbin" It gets to 29% then says: Process: Upgrade_Masterbin SubProc: Masterbin Download Cause: The number of Bad block exceeded the limit! Please replace flash. Can anyone help?

sounds to me like this is an update and u def need the full firm to restore your phone.i have not dl'd this file but i see the file size is about 80mb i believe the full firm for this one is over 600mb.that would explain the number of bad blocks,because there empty/missing.
