Yes it is possible. I haven't had one in yet so i haven't had a chance to play around and flash one.

Could you point me in the right direction???Using qpst I changed a couple of setting but nothing seems to be working...

I suspect your going to need to use either LGNPST or LG download, then you'll need the dll, bin, scr files and do some tinkering and playing with setting.
What carrier are you flashing it to?

metropcs..I know that metro has the lg imprint which is basically the same phone but I got this phone for free from my aunt..How do I find out what dll, bin, scr files I need?????

I believe it's the LG LN240 is the model #. I haven't seen anything on the files, I did a quick search last night. But given time they always pop up.
You can also try editing the MIP and PPP fields in QPST with the correct info and see if that will help. Also could try on the phone it self in the programming menu.

Usually with the newer LG's it's ##program(model#) so for yours you might try ##program240, then it's going to request the SPC. This could be different with your model and you might need to search it down.
