Hijack split from PRL's. Need help flashing BB to cricket.

Hi i just flashed my smartphone bb 8530 but it seems like its not on evdo nor web i flashed with crcknat6499. What exactly is a prl is it the signal freq that providers use? what else is needed to get a phone properly programmed to cricket?

dial *228 or *22804 and let the phone take the ota(over the air) programming this will get all things updated.if it doesnt take it then you will need to adjust something else in the ohone, possibly bbreg id it should be 2004

Split and moved, sound like you may want to take a look at the service books and make sure they are correct. Also if the OTASP fails you can try loading PRL 32200. If you have questions feel free to ask we're here to help.

thanks alot guys but this is what ive done since the post ive gotten a ipd loaded from another forum that says its off a blackberry from cricket. i also got on blackberry and downloaded the exe for cricket. i removed the vendor file and installed. i also flashed with qspt and got on cricket. Phone and text thats it

Heres the weird part after all i did many times it should have web but its doesnt. I go to connections settting and it shows that is connected to verizon wierd. *228 and its cricket. then if i ##000000 it shows some vsw3g stuff ... how can i get complete web. I feel more educated know but theres gotta be something im missing. The screen still shows verizon as well.

i tried to get qpst to connect to the phone but it seems like the phone know doesnt connect through the com ports....

its 107 damn.... i cant use qpst or another program to change the ppp my cell phone isnt worth that much to invest that mulah.

why dont you take it to someone in your area and have the work done or alot of people here do remote flashing.

Well i want to learn more than anything and everyone im my town says it cannot be done. Id like to prove them wrong. Besides they say it cannot have web and still they will charge 80 bucks!!! So is it possible with another program if not i am considering forkin the cash..... considering.
