EVDO PRL on ENV Touch

Hey gurus, in need of help once again. I tried to send the 2004.prl to my phone via QPST and still get no EV in my signal bar. I have web and mms enabled, just want to have the extra speed. I'm in LA so I know EVDO is offered here but I cant seem to get that stupid EV instead of 1x. Any help plz?

ya I fixed all the ppp and hdr passwords to the mls. Im on Metro and I thought the 2004.prl was the right one. My phone started losing signal a lot so I reverted back to the 1002.prl. Getting better clarity too in my calls now. Darn I wish I could get this to work.

Okay so this morning I ota updated the prl with #228 and the first 4 calls I made dropped within 2 minutes, 2/10 messages did not send the first time and I went thru 3 bars of battery before noon. I put the 2004.prl back on the phone and havent dropped a call since, all messages sent first time and my battery life stabilized. Now... I still dont have EVDO! lmao

The 2004 prl is a Metro PCS prl. It is an EVDO prl Ive been using since its release and havent had any problems with it in the Atlanta area. Hmmm Lemme think....

Okay so as of now, I have officially tried prls 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. NO EV!!! ERRG.... I even checked to see if EVDO was disabled and nope... The phone is good. Oh and still havent figured out why my ota update worked so s****y. I just changed it fast when my battery was low before noon and dropped so many friggin calls. I'm relentless tho. Will figure this out!

Were u able to get evdo? im running a htc evo on metro pcs in Dallas.. I cant get evdo either.. i used the 2004 prl.. double checked everything i think.. still 120kb down and 225kb up
