I got this blackberry pearl in today that doesn't have any browser configuration on it. When I write the service books to it, I am not seeing the cricket globe.
I have wiped the IT Policy, did a IOTA bypass, and wiped the whole phone to 507 and rewrote the software. I have done just about everything I know to do except throw it at someone.
Anybody tell me how to manually put the browser config back on so I can get this thing flashed?
Thanks

downgrade the software and then reflash i think is how we do the berry's when the browser is not showing up. i think if you look at the service books (in the phone) that you will see the service books are there for the browser. i have a downgrade for the firmware i will try to post it for you tonight, but i am at home (just moved) and am using a cricket aircard that barely has signal. if it wont upload to somewhere tonight i will post it for you in the morning. i am pretty sure this will solve your problem.

when you downgrade did you use crack utility to wipe device apps and wipe file system first before the downgrade? i think this is the only way to downgrade to get the browser back.

I used the JLcommander and then reloaded it. I am trying an earlier model. I will see how that goes.
