Specifically, Fios customers can use the Fios Mobile app on their smartphones and tablets to watch 140 channels of live television, movies, and stored DVR content. The app provides access to on-demand programming, as well as premium channels (subscription required). Customers can watch live television on their mobile device anywhere Verizon offers LTE service. The Fios Mobile app can be used to remotely managed DVR recordings, view TV listings, and act as a set-top box remote control. Verizon says customers will need to download the latest version of the Fios Mobile App to take advantage of the zero-rated video streaming. Verizon didn't say if the quality of the content is standard or high definition. The Verizon Fios Mobile app is free from the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store.
