View Full Version : Phone locked and don't know unlock code how to get it

I have a lg env2 9100 someone gave me this phone but it is locked i hooked it up to lg download and try the last four digits of the phone number it was assigned to but that is not working how else can i get this phone unlocked

You can try cdma workshop 2.7 connect to the proper port and click connect then read. on the left it will show you the four digit lock code. Enter it and Presto!

I'm sure that if plug your phone with lgdownloader and hit lock code it should give you the right lock code.
i have done many lg phones without any problem

Go to Device manager ports. and check the port number

Just use LG Download to get the unlock code. Just fire it up and go to NV Edit make sure the 9100 DLL or 9900 DLL and start up the NV edit. You will get the unlock code that way. If it is a Verizon and you are flashing it to cricket just *22804 it to an account that will change it to the last 4 of the phone

does anyone know how to put the dlls in the lg downloader

That automatically happens. It is an installer. You should see it in your C:/LG electronics/LG Download/model folder. If you are having problems seeing it show up when you open the LG Download, just remove all the other DLL's from the folder and put them on your desktop and just leave the 9100 DLL in your C:/LG electronics/LG Download/model folder.

That should do the trick

ok one more this I finally unlocked the env 2 phone and reset all the settings know it is saying programming needed and I also forgot how to load the prl with qpst it has been along time since i flashed a phone

ok never mind on the prl for the qpst I figured that one out now I am just trying to figure out the programming thing and the dlls

It says "Initial Programming" needed because the phone needs to be activated. Once you activate it, that will go away.

In LG Download, there is a button on the top that says lockcode, so you dont even have to NVEdit to get the code out
