So has anyone used the new Android CPE code in CID? Does it work?

What I want to know is why YOU haven't yet!!! What are you waiting for Whitey. lol. But seriously, I'm wondering the same thing. Sounds like there has to be a catch. Won't it hurt their Zio sales. $250 on craigslist can get you a pretty nice phone, much nicer than the Zio, imho.

I'm sure they figured out what we (dealer/flashers) were doing. I know my rate of actual Zio's activated vs. "Zios" in CID is about 1 to 3.

lol they dont care if u do it if they did they wouldnt push flashing we rule i figured out no proxy now everyone enjoy case closed

A dealer I spoke to said CID wouldn't allow him to just change the phone type. I suggested to do an ESN change to something else to a different phone, then ESN change back to the droid as a CPE Android, and it still wouldn't allow it. He called it in and they told him that that phone type is for used Zio's only. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Personally, since we know zio code works for easy flashes, I wouldnt even try the cpe
