View Full Version : need help with blackberry.. esn is all (0000)

hello i got a blackebrry yesterday from my brother.. and i was plying with it,, and now i see that the esn is all zeros.. i try to repair it with jl_loader doing a factory reset

do one of you know i way for me to fix this.. the blackberry is a 8530 from sprint

There really is no way to fix this. The 8530 has the memory locked down and it cannot be read. That is why people have to buy SPC codes from a few members.

Basically, if you can't read the memory you can't repair the ESN or even see where it is stored.

Unfortunately you have a phone that is mainly good for parts.

AFAIK, if esn is 000000 its no solution at all.
