The Watch Sport is a circular, fitness-focused smartwatch that can track workouts and health data, such as distance covered and heart rate. The P-OLED screen measures 1.38 inches across and boasts 480 by 480 pixels. The Watch Sport is powered by a 1.1 GHz Snapdragon 2100 processor with 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage. It includes Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS radios, as well as LTE for cellular connections. The watch is able to connect to LTE for calls, messaging, and downloading or accessing apps. The Watch Sport can be used in coordination with a smartphone, sharing the same number so users can always be reached, or on its own even when the associated smartphone is not turned on. Notably, the watch includes NFC and support for Android Pay, so it can be used for mobile payments. It packs a 430mAh battery. The LG Watch Sport costs $380. Availability was not immediately disclosed.
