Droid 2 Web Apps GPS and talk text cricket

I did this the other day and wanted to share for free love you guys.

Ok droid 2 for cricket, this will take some reading and is based off of to0's Droid solution and many other peoples work on this (insanecain, ztahoez, dex, and if I forgot you sorry but you know who you are). Basically follow the HWVSP portion of the Droid flash but to get the settings to stick you will need NV Items the Droid's Items. Also, I dont have a Droid 2 to try the MMS on but I'm sure you Open APNs and edit like you would for the Droid. Just wanted to stamp my name on this one, not my solution but my experiment and it works.

I thought this was also how to get mms?? I got incoming just can't get outgoing. I even removed the messaging app and reinstalled it with the cricket settings. Any other ideas? WHen I try to send a message it gives me an error I haven't seen before. something about national access coverage not available. Thought it might help. Still trying to find a workaround.

Are all the nv items for this phone from t00? I have a copy that I did not get from t00. I can post them if I am allowed to. Or what you can do is modify the droid 1 NV items and ONLY use the first 5 NV items.

I don't know if all of them are from T0o I think you can also use the ones from the whiterabbit.org site. Did using those nv items get the MMS going for you? Like I said in the earlier post i get this weird error message "national access coverage is not available" I haven't seen that message on an android phone before. Thought maybe someone had gotten past it.

The NV items on whiterabbit.org are actually To0's and Cain's. Cain has a post on here somewhere pointing that out. And Tim is correct, those aren't available for public use. They are for those who purchase those items.

I used apn backup restore to edit the apns on this phone, I believe.
