Hi can you please share this ? I have a novatel 5792 modem that I would like to flash(downgrade) with dfs.
When I press write its stuck at "Waiting for device in Online mode: QcDm"
I think it should work in diag mode tho

Can you just download the drivers manually to get a status port?

I have status port enabled when I run DUU. maybe it failed because i am using the free version of DFS Evo. Or maybe because I have both the DUU and and DFS using the device at the same time?
It bricked after I used DUU to update it. It gets stuck at white screen displaying "Novatel wireless"

The duu has a com enabler in it but when you close the duu it sets the port back to off, I would not use dfs to load any mifi or you will be needing the use of my recovery tool to repair your device, in there infinite wisdom (lol) they DO NOT know how to use Novatel protocals to load devices.
The drivers do not have anything to do with diag mode, you can use any lte driver of the same class for any Novatel device as long as its the same class of device, meaning basically either 4620 and before or 5510 and after those are basically the 2 classes of devices, though they have now a third class which is SA2100 but the cost of that device (around 400 bucks) will keep them out of the flashing world for a good while, but its a super nice device even though its big.
Anyway I have device recovery service available if you need it.

To do this over network will take hours.Sorry I did not realize you were out of the country. If you can get it to me Ill load it for you for a small fee.
EDIT:
sorry my bad I was thinking you were wanting to load new firmware on your device, that would take hours to do over network, if you are just needing to enable diag mode on your device that will only take a few seconds, is that what you are asking to do?

Since you advised me against dfs tool, enabling diag mode wont fix my problem. I was looking to unbrick the device. Might as well throw it out shipping it to us and back would cost me more than buying a used one off ebay.
Thanks for your interest in my issue.
